Thermomix Demonstrations

10 years ago a Spanish lady asked me if I had heard about the Thermomix. I googled it and was amazed by the amount of people who had them in Europe, one in three homes in Spain! This German machine from Vorwerk has been around for over 50 years. I sceptically attended a TM demonstration and I was blown away seeing its capabilities.

I immediately saw where it could be a Godsend in the kitchen, freeing you to get on with other things while it consistently got on with whatever task you set it, making sauces, soups, jams, risottos, choux pastry, grinding chick peas to Gram flour, or rice to rice flour, great for people with food intolerances. It even grates the rind of Parmesan Cheese or whole nutmeg!

Despite being a domestic machine, professional kitchens are using them and as a result you will see them popping up on programmes such as the Great British Menu, MasterChef, Saturday Kitchen etc.     I demonstrate the Thermomix in cookery schools and colleges on a regular basis showing the students how this is quite literally another pair of hands in your kitchen.

With Thermomix you are guaranteed consistency no matter who is doing the cooking.

I understand why it is so popular in countries such as Spain, Italy and Poland, these people are passionate about their food, it is in their blood! They also entertain at home, where we are much more inclined to eat out or even have food delivered, something unheard of in these countries!  Living in Italy for 10 years I can vouch for that and all my Italian neighbours had a Thermomix long before I had even heard of it!   Thermomix can help to change the way we eat for cooks and ‘non-cooks’ alike!

At first I was against guided cooking, being a cookery teacher but once you check out all the recipes on Cookidoo the official Thermomix app, you will be amazed by the variety of what you can cook.  I have friends who lived on readymade meals now creating wonderful tasty healthy food for the whole family.  It has saved them a fortune!  You can plan your cooking for the week and cook things you never would have dreamt of cooking.  The Indian vegetable curry has become one of my favourites.  I have the app on my phone, laptop and tablet and I simply download the recipes to my Thermomix.

The Thermomix cost €1359 and more than pays for itself.  It can be spread over monthly instalments at no extra cost.

If you are interested in learning more about this wonderful machine, please contact me.  I am an official Thermomix adviser.  We advise to only purchase from official advisers in order to have the full two year warrantee and the ongoing support.  I have seen machines for sale on various sites and even had a client receiving a quote for one from an unauthorised person, undercutting the official price.  Please be wary as I am sure had she paid she would have lost a lot of money and ended up with no Thermomix.
